How To Cancel A Certificate

Learn how to cancel a certificate that has already been drafted.
 

Prior to getting started, you will need the following:

Step 1: Getting Started

  • Hover over “Capitalization” in the main navigation bar, and then click “Cap Table” in the drop-down menu
  • Find the specific holder you want to edit, then click on the carrot to the left of their name which will expand the cap table to show their holdings
  • Click on either the certificate thumbnail image or certificate number to view the specific certificate you want to delete

Step 2: Cancelling The Certificate

  • Once inside the specific certificate info packet, on the “Certificate” tab, you’ll see the “Cancel” button on the top right of the page
  • Click the “Cancel” button
  • Select a reason from the drop down
    • (Optional) Enter any relevant information in the notes field
  • Click the “Confirm” button to confirm the cancellation
This completes the process of cancelling a certificate
